Portugal is not a giant producer of evoo but tradition of olive oil runs deep. in recent years quality has jumped & rivals the best from anywhere else in the world. chiquitita is obtained by crossing arbequina with picual olives that result in a buttery olive oil with aromatics of corn husk, straw & hay. creamy with nutty flavors of alfalfa & ripe olives. very versatile & will work with just about everything. its characteristics will compliment all foods from salads to seafood and all other proteins. super durable under heat for heavy cooking & saute.
